Zaber™ Ultra High Precision Linear Motorized Stages are computer-controlled linear stages that utilize a moving magnet track linear motor and centrally located encoder to accurately and precisely position optical components or subsystems. These stages can connect directly to a computer’s USB or RS-232 port and are compatible with Zaber Launcher and Zaber’s Motion Library for quick set up and intuitive automation and control. The linear analog encoder has 1nm count size ensuring 1µm positional accuracy, < 0.08µm repeatability, and consistent minimal incremental movement steps down to 20nm. Zaber™ Ultra High Precision Linear Motorized Stages are driven by non-cogging ironless linear motors which allow for speeds up to 1200mm/s with a minimum speed and speed resolution of 0.61mm/s. These stages are designed with metric tapped holes for mounting and an indexed knob and push switch for manual control when needed.
