ISP Optics 類鑽碳 (DLC) 鍍膜矽窗鏡一面採用抗反射鍍膜，另一面則採用特殊設計的 DLC 鍍膜，因此耐用度非常高，適合惡劣環境使用。DLC 鍍膜表面可承受 -80 至 +160°F 的溫度循環、連續 72 小時的鹽霧，以及在砂土和泥漿混合物之中 1,000 次的刮刷振盪。此外這類窗鏡也符合 MIL-F-48616 及 MIL-C-48497C 標準嚴格的耐磨要求。矽的努氏硬度為 1150，並具備低密度特性，因此比鍺基材更加堅硬，適合用於對重量敏感的應用。ISP Optics 類鑽碳 (DLC) 鍍膜矽窗鏡設計製造為 3 至 5µm，適合熱成像等紅外線密集應用使用。
