Mitutoyo的物鏡馳名世界,制訂了長工作距離的顯微鏡光學的行業標準。使用了一種新的方法解決了工作距離與光學參數的矛盾,而這種方法為獨家首創。設計一個更大更長的顯微物鏡(95mm共軛距)可使設計更簡單,為盡可能保持較高的NA值與對比度,鏡片全部設計成平場複消色差結構。複消色差物鏡是針對紅光、藍光和黃光進行矯正,而普通的消色差鏡頭只對紅光和藍光進行矯正,平場複消色差鏡頭的價格不菲,但若大批量生產,成本甚至會降到低於消色差物鏡的價格。而且所有鏡片均已消除應力。優化過的亮場(平行照明到同軸光照明),這些鏡頭是線形照明的理想選擇。對於無限遠矯正系統,需要有第二個鏡頭(收斂鏡頭Tube lens)。所有狀態的放大倍率基於焦距為200mm的收斂鏡頭(Tube lens),安裝螺牙:M26 x 0.706 pitch (36 TPI)。
