Edmund Optics® Makes Major Investment in Laser Optics with a New Manufacturing Facility

Edmund Optics^®, a leading global manufacturer of laser optics coatings, components, and assemblies optimized for high-power laser systems, continues to invest in its laser optics manufacturing capabilities and has recently expanded its footprint in Oldsmar, FL, USA. The brand new, state-of-the-art 34,000 sq. ft. Laser Optics Center is dedicated to manufacturing a wide variety of optical components with high laser damage thresholds from the UV to the far IR.

In addition, this facility expands Edmund Optics’ laser optics manufacturing capabilities across laser crystal and glass fabrication, polishing, metrology, inspection, and testing, and is home to approximately 50 employees, many of whom are laser optics experts. Our design and manufacturing engineers specialize in complex, high laser damage threshold coatings and designing for manufacturability.
